Okay, so I'm supposed to be reading The Bone Season for a post I'm going to write for The Book Lantern but here's the thing. It's boring. Really boring. I am drowning in exposition and I've barely made a dent in the text. So I said "fuck it" and grabbed something else from the pile.

This is basically Greek tragedy fan-fiction but really well written and evocative fan-fiction. It's also very readable and pretty gripping. It compels you to continue reading in an almost addictive manner. I'll report back once I'm finished.
